WATCH ME FALL

A number of people have asked when my next book is coming out.  Watch Me Fall has been available for pre-ordering on Amazon for some time, but you'll have to be patient.  This book has taken me longer to write than anticipated.  Plus I have just got a new editor so that has also complicated matters slightly.  So the UK publication date could be still some time off - the current date on the Amazon page is April 2011

READING CRIME FESTIVAL

I'll be appearing at the Reading Festival of Crime Writing on Saturday 12th September.

I'm taking part in a panel event entitled Murder in Mind, about psychological thrillers and crime writing.  My fellow panellists are Stephen Booth, R J Ellory and Laurie King and the panel is chaired by the fantastic Sophie Hannah.

MURDER AT THE EDINBURGH FRINGE

I'm preparing for my debut one-woman comedy show at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.  Murder for Profit and Pleasure explores my double life as a comedian and crime writer, and ponders the fatal fascination of murder.

The show is at Jekyll & Hyde, Hanover Street in Edinburgh, as part of the Free Festival (no need to book tickets - just turn up).  It runs from 6th - 30th August (not Tuesdays) and is a 40-minute show starting at 4.30pm.

Murder for Profit and Pleasure - preview

I shall be previewing my 2009 Edinburgh Fringe show Murder for Profit and Pleasure at Hampton Library on Thursday 11th June.  It's part of Richmond Libraries' LIBRARIES ALOUD programme.

The address is Hampton Library, Rosehill, TW12 2AB.  Tickets are £2.50 and the show starts at 7pm.  For full details, please go to: www.richmond.gov.uk/libraries_aloud.

The show will combine elements of the two sides of my life: crimewriting and comedy.
