I write psychological thrillers that focus on strong contemporary women who find themselves in unexpected circumstances, forced to face up to secrets and truths that have been locked away - either figuratively or literally. My first novel, Grievous Angel, was published in both the UK and USA in 2005. Since then I have written two more - The Murder Ballad (2007) and Can't Let Go (2008).
